VOLUNTEER MOVEMENT
VOLUNTEER MOVEMENT
GOOD DEEDS DAY is a global movement that encourages people to perform acts of kindness and volunteerism. It's usually celebrated on a specific day in April (date varies by year) and involves individuals, communities, and organizations coming together to do good deeds for others and the environment.
The idea is to spread positivity, kindness, and community spirit. People participate in various activities like cleaning parks, helping the elderly, supporting local charities, or doing random acts of kindness for strangers.
LAINS Volunteers is the social impact part of LAINS, focused on mobilising individuals and communities to contribute to positive social and environmental change.
Through volunteerism, partnerships, and community engagement, LAINS Volunteers supports initiatives that promote responsibility, inclusion, and sustainable development. READ MORE

The LAINS Volunteers to opportunity pathway provides volunteers with structured volunteer opportunities to obtain practical work experience, general workplace skills and develop their professional network through working with organizations and companies.
LAINS provides volunteers with the opportunity for potential career advancement through its partnerships with host organisations based on their performance, availability and the needs of the hosting organisation. Although this does not guarantee employment, this pathway was developed to help in: improving employability and work readiness. This provides volunteers with real world experiences in organisations thus supporting the development of specific skills and professional growth. Throughout the entire experience; LAINS will provide a variety of learning options, mentorship opportunities, as well as opportunities for moral and ethical development.
LAINS Volunteers welcomes all kinds of volunteers: Individuals, youth/students, professionals & organizations. Everyone has a way to contribute, big or small every effort counts.
